Staying at The Hoxton Amsterdam

Last week, I was the lucky one to stay at The Hoxton Amsterdam. The hotel opened its doors on Herengracht 255 in July 2015. The room was beautifully furnished and had a lovely canal view! The dinner at Lotti’s was delicious (in particular the salted caramel brownie, wow!). When you look above, you can see the beautiful building and the lovely sky because of their glass roof. I even heard that the glass roof opens when the sun comes out! Would love to try it out in the summer.

The Hoxton, Amsterdam opened its doors on Herengracht in 2015. Made up of 5 canal houses, the building was once home to the Mayor, way back in the 17th century. Now it houses 111 rooms spread across 5 floors with plenty of quirks including some monumental ceilings and lots of canal views – we’re lucky enough to have canals on each side of the building. Downstairs, there’s the restaurant, Lotti’s; Up Top, our mezzanine coffee and cocktail den, lobby bar; and The Apartment, our meeting and event space, which doubles up as a home to Hoxtown.

Together with photographer Kimberley Zondag, I shot this editorial in room 216 of The Hoxton – showing you the beautiful hotel room and my favourite loungewear! I am wearing dresses from Tigha and Lingadore and tops from Opus and Gestuz.
